What We Believe

What We Believe

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God and inerrant in the original writings.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man’s only hope of redemption is through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.

We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature, and that all are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God’s grace, through faith alone, are we saved.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are not saved unto the resurrection of the damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Who’s indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the pattern and principle of male leadership and responsibility in both the home and the church, according to the sacrificial example of Jesus. We believe this limits the roles of pastoral leadership and doctrinal authority to qualified men.

We believe that the Lord, Jesus Christ instituted two ordinances for the church: the full-immersion water baptism of believers and the Lord’s Supper.

We believe in the Pre-Tribulation Rapture of the Church where all believers will meet the Lord in the air and be taken out of this world prior to the Tribulation that will come upon the earth.

We believe that God created man and that He created them male and female. As such, He created them different so as to complement and complete each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. Therefore, we perform marriages in accordance with the Bible consistent with the Old and New Testament.
