Matthew 9:18-25

Matthew 9:18-25

God desires to use you. God desires to use your testimony. God desires to use your perspective. Don't ever believe that your testimony means nothing. Don't believe that. You and I, as we walk through life…we see things, and we experience things, and the Holy Spirit of God touches us… and even though it may not seem exciting, there are exciting things happening around you every moment… And guess what? Even if your [testimony] may not be as exciting as somebody else’s, you need to give it because you may be…a person that I look at and I say, “You know what? I can relate to [you]…”

But in every step you take in life, the Holy Spirit is there walking with you, giving you eyes to see, and there are things that are happening that are great testimonies. And even if you only remember a small portion of it, guess what? It’s valid, and needs to be shared…

God desires to use you. God desires to use your testimony. God desires to use your perspective. Now, it may not ever end up in a book like this [Matthew], but guess what? It may end up in the hearts of those hearing in this room. It may end up in the hearts of those that you will encounter outside of this room. “Guess what? God did something in my life. Can I share that with you?” Don’t ever demean yourself, don’t ever look down on yourself, and don’t ever believe that your testimony means nothing. That it’s unimportant. Don’t believe that… But if we believe our testimony is valid, and we’re important to God, it doesn’t matter is somebody else saw it a little differently and shares it differently. What matters is that we got to be there, too, and share in what God was doing.
