John 12:1-19

John 12:1-19

John 12:7Vintage message from our 2002-2003 radio program called “Perspective” aired May 25, 2003.

There are two things that we have to consider. First and foremost, God is powerful. God can do all things. God can sustain us through all things. The second is that we need to know His Word. We need to know what His Word says; why He gave it to us; how He gave it to us…

Are you looking for ministry? Are you looking for something you can do to serve Jesus? Open your eyes and look around you. I guarantee you, there are those within your community, there are those within your neighborhood, there are those within your churches, there are those within this church, who are poor, who are struggling, who are suffering financially and emotionally. They have need for you and I to have involvement in their life… If you want to do ministry, look out your back door. Look out your front door. Look just about anywhere around you, and you can find ministry waiting. You will always have the poor among you…

If you are arguing against God, if you are fighting against what God is trying to do — and I know there are many of you, many of you here tonight that are fighting against what God is trying to do in your life. Things have been done. Hardships have happened. You have every excuse why you should be able to argue and fight with God, but let me tell you something. Just like the Pharisees, your fighting with God, your arguing with God, your trying to put God in a box, is going to get you no where.
