John 1:1-9

John 1:1-9

John 1:8Vintage message from our 2002-2003 radio program called “Perspective” aired August 18, 2002.

In the beginning, when God created all things, there was God the Father Who was present, there was God the Word Who was present, and there was God the Spirit Who was present, and when you talk about having a love relationship with God, you are talking about having a love relationship with Father, Son, and Spirit. And Jesus came that you and I could know the fullness and the depth of that love…

[Spiritual] life begins when you enter into relationship with the Word, and I’m not just talking about reading your Bibles, but I am talking about entering into a relationship that is living and vital and dynamic with the Person Who is the Word, because He is the life and He became a Light…

God loves it when we stand up and are a testimony to His love to other men. All He asks for us to do is share with others what we believe. He doesn’t ask us to save anyone. He just simply asks us to share what we know and what we believe about Him, and leave the rest to Him…

[Do] you know what else I find as a believer? That you and I are not the answer. You and I are not the light. You and I do not save anyone. We are the tools, the instruments in which God uses. God loves to use those that He created. He loves to speak through us. He loves to indwell us with His Spirit, but He simply asks that we, ourselves, be a witness concerning Him, concerning His light.
