PART 2:  Life Affirming Scriptures (all ESV)

Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
Genesis 2:7 Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.
Genesis 9:7 And you, be fruitful and multiply, increase greatly on the earth and multiply in it.
Exodus 20:12 Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
Exodus 33:14 And he said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
1 Kings 17:20-22 And he cried to the Lord, “O Lord my God, have you brought calamity even upon the widow with whom I sojourn, by killing her son?” Then he stretched himself upon the child three times and cried to the Lord, “O Lord my God, let this child’s life come into him again.” And the Lord listened to the voice of Elijah. And the life of the child came into him again, and he revived.
2 Kings 13:21 And as a man was being buried, behold, a marauding band was seen and the man was thrown into the grave of Elisha, and as soon as the man touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.
Psalm 23:5-6 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
Psalm 34:22 The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.
Psalm 36:9 For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.
Psalm 54:4 Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.
Psalm 56:13 For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of life.
Psalm 71:20 You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again.
Psalm 103:2-4a Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit
Psalm 119:25 My soul clings to the dust; give me life according to your word!
Psalm 119:50 This is my comfort in my affliction, that your promise gives me life.
Psalm 119:93 I will never forget your precepts, for by them you have given me life.
Psalm 119:154 Plead my cause and redeem me; give me life according to your promise!
Psalm 138:7 Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.

More tomorrow. If any of these speak to you please look them up in context and perhaps commit them to memory. Out of over a 100 up through Psalms, these are the ones that spoke to me.
